As I write this, I'm reminded of everything you did for us. It is with immense gratitude that I write this statement!

Claudia provided exceptional service to my family and I as we moved to Canada from the UK in 2017. This included assistance, initially, with temporary work permits and then our application for permanent residence. She was with us every step of the way, giving guidance, answering questions, and even helping us navigate an out-of-country emergency at the very last stages of our PR application. Her thoroughness and attention to detail meant we navigated the process smoothly. However, what I appreciated most about working with Claudia was her empathy, humanity, and her unwavering commitment to her clients. I simply can't recommend her highly enough!

Claudia, my family and I are ever so grateful for the assistance you gave us when my sister received a procedural fairness letter (PFL) for her family sponsorship application. My sisters and I had put so much time and effort into her application and had not realized there was an error in it. On the contrary, we were expecting to hear any day that her application was approved, so she could join her husband and extended family members here in Canada. Instead, she received the PFL. We were shocked, anxious and not sure where to turn for help. Thankfully, we were referred to you. In a clear, matter of fact yet sensitive way, you explained why we received the letter and how you would address the officer’s concerns when responding to the letter. Your response was comprehensive, with much more content and details than we would have thought to include had we responded by ourselves.   

If unsuccessful, the consequences would have been dire for our sister’s application and any plans to visit Canada in the near future, but thank God, you were successful. Instead of tears of sadness, there were tears of joy! Thank you for handling our case so professionally, expeditiously and with a successful outcome.

Immigration is a nightmare of bureaucracy but Claudia is a dream to work with and carefully guided us through every step of the process. Claudia represented my wife and I in our application to sponsor my wife, who is American, for permanent residency in Canada. With a deep understanding of the system, compassion for her clients, and a meticulous eye for details, Claudia guided us throughout the whole process, from drafting and carefully vetting the book-length application, what documents to provide at the border, completing biometrics, providing requested additional documentation, the struggles of communicating with an understaffed and byzantine Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, to finally getting my wife her permanent residency. We moved from the United States to Toronto to work at York University in December of 2021. After relying upon guidance from the York University Immigration & Relocation Officer about work permits and permanent residency that was ineffective, we realized we were on our own. We attempted to navigate the Permanent Residency process ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed.
